idle dying problem....
Barely owned the car for a month and i already have a problem. Well it seems that my ecu is throwing codes im guessing cuz the engine light comes on and off. Sometimes itll stay on for a 1min or 2. or at times a few seconds. But usually when it comes on at idle the car idles different then it shuts down. Then after i try to start it it take 3-4 cranks at about 3-5 secs to get the car started again and then i usually have a noticible white clound behind me. Not terribly huge but noticible. Sometimes when i drive and the engine light comes on ill be pressing the gas and i get no power so as im driving less than 50mph i guess the car dies so i clutch start it i dunno if thats bad to clutch start ever so often but im usually on the freeway and get desperate so i gotta do something. Happens mostly during the day maybe the warmer weather has something to do with it. Also happens during more "spirited driving" but still might happen during passive driving. Starts fine in the morning. Im running really rich most of the time according to my afr. Hopefully its not to serious but its starting to bug when sometimes ill be sitting at idle at a light then my cars dies and it turns green and im freaking trying to start the car while getting honked at. haha oh well a little help please?

Well, not actually seeing the car in person, its hard to say what the problem is.
Go thru some basic troubleshooting.. check the plugs, wires, coil, etc..
Then check the crank angle sensor. I recently got stranded in someone else's FD and found out the oil metering electrical lines got cut by the pulley. It was laying front of the crank angle sensor and when it did I couldn't start the car and it also shut the car down. I also was stranded on the interstate.
To me it sounds like ignition/electrical.
