idle drops by 30-40 rpms with headlights on

Its the OEM alternator with 85k miles. I was mesing around with some wires on the drivers side of the engine after i did an oil change i wonder if i threw a ground or if it happened prior to doing dat. Anyways my question was whether anyone can help me narrow down whether is the alternator or a bad ground/fuse or whatever.

Thanx

P.S. link to buy 140 Amp alternator appreciated

Yes, adding electrical load would normally pull down rims but the RX7 has a high load circuit to boost idle speed.. Some feature of this is not working
