Idle at 5000RPMs wtf? Help me please!!!!

Ok, so I had just started the car yesterday and I let the car sit for about 10 minutes because of the learn idle thing on the Power FC. I've got a T04S turbo just for you all to know. The idle would alternate between 800-2100 RPMs, so I read that it might be the Idle bleed screw. Well I turned that in all the way today and I twisted it 1/4 way from the tightest.

Well, I then went on the PFC and I heard that you'd need to disable the O2 sensor in order for the idle to set, so I changed the Japanese characte (WHY THE **** IS MINE IN JAPANESE? IT'S LIKE HALF JAPANESE AND HALF NOT JAPANESE, THE ON AND OFF ARE IN JAPANESE. AT LEAST THAT'S WHAT I THINK IT MEANS) Then when I turned the car on it revved all the way to 4000 RPMS. I immediately turned the dam car off.

I've also got oil leaking out of my exhaust. Does that mean my car is running really rich?

I can't seem to figure anything out. HELP PLOX!!!!

One idea: Do you have cruise control? If you do, possibly you tightened the throttle cable that it uses when adjusting the idle bleed screw. This cable comes from the cruise box to the throttle body. If it is pushed down it will tighten and cause yuor idle to increase drastically like what you are describing. Just go out and pull it into its normal resting position (up from where it may be setting next to the shock tower) and that should take care of it. If you don't have cruise, then I dunno, this was just an idea. This happened to me right after I bought my car and I went crazy for a day until I found myself feeling stupid when I figured out what it was...

I eliminated Cruise Control already. I'm driving myself crazy right now trying to figure this out.

liquid oil out the exhaust is bad news regardless of idle speed. check the linkage for throttle etc, have you pulled the tps off?

If I'm leaking oil out the exhaust could it possibly be that my oil line to the turbo is giving the turbo too much oil? I've got some oil coming out of the intake side as well, not too much but a little. Could it be my restrictor pill? I haven't pulled it off but I've tried to adjust it. However what could be causing my car to be revving so high?

Would having the O2 sensor do that? Is it the closer I tighten the idle bleed screw the higher the idle goes?

throttle cable freeplay should be 1-2 mm . Did you reset your Power FC? Are you sure you don't have a vacuum leak?

a Boost gauge..

Also sounds like your turbo seals are gone, among other things.

Ok, found out I need a restrictor pill or something of the sort. The current oil line to my turbo was one made not for ball-bearing turbos. Ball bearing turbos require a different oil pressure which is much lower than that of the stock oil pressure to the turbos. Will work on other stuff tomorrow.
