idel w/o airpump

Is there any way to get rid of the rough idle you get after disconnecting the air pump?

Hmm.. make sure that your idle control sensor is properly plugged in. It is one of the sensors directly undeneath and plugged into the upper intake manifold. Also, make sure that your idle adjustment screw is in the right place. Aim for 900 RPM or so. Also.. what kind of computer do you have. If you have something like the power FC, then it will eventually learn the idle, and it will be fine after a while. One more thing, does the idle get better or worse as the car warms up? Well.. I hope this helps.

Did you make sure to plug the tube that leads to the exhaust (at back of lower intake manifold by firewall)?
