Idea: STI Intercooler sprayer retrofit to an FD?

What does it spray: water, alcohol, etc.? If so, there are plenty of other companies making different types of intercooler injection kits that are actually made for the FD. No need to retrofit anything.

I don't think he is referring to water or methanol injection, but spraying water on the outside of the intercooler for added cooling like the Nitrous Express Ntercooler system.

Just go to the hardware store and make one. GO to the auto-aprinkler section. SCC did a thing a long time ago where they built a sprayer for like 10 bucks, that actually worked and looked decent.

this is such a typical answer from the 3rd gen forum. The guys asks if an STI sprayer would work and everyone tells him about every other option except the one he is propsing.
Yes it would work fine, if you have one then go ahead and use it, better yet, make a record with pics and post it when you 've finished.

yes, an STi intercooler sprayer would work just fine. but if you don't already have one, i'd suggest just getting the stuff to make it yourself. or find someone with an STi that is no longer using theirs and see if they'll give it up.

I've heard that the STi's IC sprayer is not very functional. You might want to search the Subaru forums and see what their experience has been.

I have a friend with an STI I just thought of the Idea when he told me about it. I'm going to go on the forums and look around. If I can I will post for you guys when it's done.
