iat sensor question
Yeah I understand the basic pros and cons, just figured I'd see if over the last 4 years there had been any changes in opinion or 'revelations' as it were. I suppose I'll post any findings I make here :P
Not spending $90 on an easily-sourced $30 part just seems like common sense, for any budget. Not sure why the shot at my car description..

I wasn't taking a shot at your car description. At least that wasn't my intention. I just quoted your own description with the logic that if you spent money to properly do the modifications, a relatively small difference in price between OEM and faster reacting shouldn't be a deal breaker.
Text conversation strikes again, my apologies for misinterpreting! And for anyone else reading this later, these sensors (the fast reacting ones, not oem) are available for $30 if you look around.
I'm going to start with a shrouded style sensor and see if I get the improvement I'm after.

But are they OEM or some sort of Dorman-esque 'up to oem standards' part? Spending money on sensors and connectors to get the proper parts should be trivial in your build.
The cost difference comes when they're sold/marketed as triumph motorcycle parts (which they are) instead of 'special RX-7 upgrade' parts.
