I think there is something wrong with my FD.

Well just the other day I got the check engine light and I just pulled over to see what was wrong.. nothing. But here is the thing.. I try driving my car today and I noticed that I had no gas so I was like ok and put half a tank. After driving for 15 mins I noticed that I was already at a 1/4 tank.. Ok I know that rotaries aren't that good with gas mileage but this is ridiculous.. Im thinking it might be the sensor but I could be wrong. Anyone else having this problem?I also feel that im losing power. I sometimes bog when in neutral to first at low rpm

Also I have the ARC SuperInduction Intake and can't get rid of the Moo!! I put silencers where people told me too but that damn cow won't go away.

Thanks,
Kevin

There is no way your car is USING that much fuel....I mean what....6 gallons or so in "15 minutes"?
Heck, my boat running WOT would be hard put to use that much fuel...lol!
You almost HAVE to have some massive leak somewhere but...surely...SURELY you would see/smell it.....

Have you retrieved the code/s from the ECU?

If you EVER smell gas you should pull over and not drive the car until you find the leak. Then FIX the leak ASAP. Many a FD's have been lost this way....

Guys...? Pulsation dampener?

You need to check near the injectors and see if the a small pool of fuel under the UIM.

If your car is relatively stock, there should be no gas odor. However, some guys use oil catch cans and vent them in the engine bay. This can cause a gas odor as the oil gets some blow-by and begins to get some fuel dilution. There are other scenarios which can cause some gas odors which guys will do from time to time, but for the most part those are in the minority.

Uh oh, my car is pretty stock and I think I get a slight gas odor once in a while. At least I think its gas. IHOOOOOOOOOR! HELP ME! haha

At least Im not losing a rediculous amount of fuel. The fuel I purchased will not be wasted on the ground but on my soft supple flesh.

I smell gas the most on start up. I'm decently modded, single turbo 3mm seals large streetport, straight exhaust without cats. But once it warms up the smell goes away. I think I'm running hella rich to so... What's your take on my situation?

I've had fuel leaks before , and my car smells like gas too , especially on start up ... there is a HUGE difference between raw gasoline smell , and burnt gasoline (Rich AFR) ... good you got it fixed , would hate to see another FD go up in flames ... NOT fun

Well..... I was going to say, use a torch to find the source of the gas leak. Surely that would find the gas leak.

Where on your gas tank was the crack?
