i think my starter is dead
when i try to start my car, all of the electrical stuff works fine and the motor spins (my tach even revs to 2k rpms) but the engine just won't actually start.
could it be a fuel problem or is my starter shot? i think it's the starter b/c when i turn the key, the motor spins and i hear a tick, tick, tick, tick sound.
thanks for any info on what this prob. may be....
also, is it difficult to install a new starter??

If it was the starter, I don't think it would turn the engine. If it was a battery problem I don't think the electrical **** would work with otu a problem. I don't know is something flying over my head, lol? Maybe flooded...

depending on how fast the motor is turning over it might be the battery but i'm going to go with street king and say that it is a problem with flooding or no spark or fuel.
