i find this the best: rev to 3k then start slipping the clutch until you get traction then let go.

Ok here's how to beat him once and forall.. (I remember your thread about if you could win and I guess you did?)

Step 1: Get a cheap car... maybe a old civic
Step 2: Tell him you have a suprize under the hood and you want to show him how fast it is and are not waiting untill you can take it to the track.
Step 3: When racing crash into his car!

He'll never bug you to race him again!

Mustangs are NO problem if you know how to release a clutch , hold the car straight, and push the accallerator pedal! I was cruising down HWY 10 at 45 MPH in MN one night about 150 yards from a light. a PunTang came up on me fast and cut in front of me just before the light.
I was right behind him at the light in the left lane, the right lane was blocked by 2 minivans, so I figured no race.

Well, when the light turned green, The ******* had then ***** to lunch his car as hard as he could. So I just launched and easily kept pace until we were far enough ahead of the right lane traffic. I jumped over a lane, looked over to see the confused driver looking back at me, shifted into 3rd and made cocky gesture at the driver. Later

So even with a good head start, a mustang will still lose!
