Either the car is stolen or you are going to get ripped off.

Rule of thumb, if the deal looks too good to be true, it is. Mostly stock cars in good condition go for $13-15k.

Doesn't matter...that sounds really fishy. Buy at your own risk.

I wouldn't though - looks ricey.

Also...
I see no sideskirts in that pic
I see no aftermarket tachometer in that pic (and anyone who adds one to an FD is an idiot anyway)

That car, if it were legit and everything was in working order, would be going for about 5 times what he is asking. He has no reason to sell that low...I don't care how desperate someone is. He could put that up for $6k and still get it within a week IF IT WERE LEGIT.

Something's not right about that one. Where are the engine bay shots? Anyone with that much money wrapped up in their car is going to have more than 2 crappy pictures of it. Does he have a clean title? Does he have all receipts for work/parts? I'm guessing he's not looking for $3000 if that thing is real...he probably forgot to add another 0 onto it.

I'm going to give you some advice - from this quote:

i don't know much about cars
I would HIGHLY suggest you not even look at an rx7 until you know something about them...and by something, I mean everything.

Good deals are far and few. One like this; if it was real is usually found by someone who is in the RX7 community. Yes, it could be a true deal. But, it the guy did all that work, more than likely he would be on here selling it or parting it out. We all know how to get some $ out of our cars on here. The For Sale forum is very fast pace. I would shop elsewhere. My .02

Doctor bills? Those guys are vultures. He's probably in the middle of a divorce, & his family lost everything to huricane Katrina. Poor bastard.

With that said I would jump on it. Make sure you Western Union him the cash.

Hopefully he will send you a larger check 1st. Then, after you deposit it, Western Union him the change.

It's a win win situation for you.

Man, that's a good question.....................

If only they had a way to search for cars online or sell magazines at grocery stores that list used cars for sale in your area. That would be sweet...

This has to be complete bs. There are numerous parts he lists that are obviously not installed on the car. But ****, call his bluff and see what happens. There is a that slight chance its for real. Ha, but when he tells you hes over in europe its a scam for sure
