i need help!!!

i installed my boost gauge and a/f ratio gauge today and my car barely pulls 2lbs of boost!!!

i installed an apexi dual intake 2 weeks ago and the car seemed a bit pepier.

a week after that i installed the greddy intake elbow and the hardpipe from the stock i/c to the new elbow. that pipe did not fit well at all so i had to rig up a longer coupling. thats when i noticed the car being dramatically slower.

and then today which is a week after the greddy elbow i see that the car is only doing 2 lbs. im not sure what the problem is and any help would be great. TIA

Where is your Vac on idle, you most likely have a leak somewhere. Also check your map sensor on your driverside firewall and check the sticky section for normal trouble shooting..
Look around the forum for people with the same IC setup as you and see what they used for a cupler also try and get yourself t-bolt clamps not the philip style clamps.
Vac @ idle with stock motor should be at around 18-15psi..

then you probably have a boost leak. check your couplers and then start reading the link yuichiror posted.

Obviously (or not), you need to go over everything you did with a fine-toothed comb to make sure there are no leaks. The couplers on your new piping would be the prime suspect.

let me rephrase the vac. it idles at 17. when i accelerate it moves to 2 lbs or so.

i inspected my install of the pipe and even though its rigged everything seems great. no reason to lose 8 lbs of boost that is.(i would'nt think)

rynberg, how could new piping affect the car in this way assuming everything was installed properly of course?

and now that i think about it, i noticed the car being slower that nite, not right after the install. maybe this might help, hopefully.
