I Need Feedback From FD Owners With Hayes Ported Rebuilds.

I am looking for people that have these motors and their experience with them.

No, JIMLAB I know your experience already, it was not good.

I need both positive and negative experiences.

Just the facts man.

Garfinkle uses hayes because of the garentee (he does not rebuild motors now) Gar put in one that went 68 miles then noise and no power. He called Don at Hayes. they sent Gar a new crate and built him another motor . Gar did not pay Hayes a single penny ,the next motor is great. He has used Hayes for several years and has two motors on the floor now that they will be asked to replace (new work,old motors).Hayes has treated Gar very well over the years. The 68 mile motor had new bearings but one failed. things happen,and they backed it up plus they know that Gar is very good at this work
