Just use a 4-rib which should be easily available. It will work just fine.

Yes i saw that belt from rx7.com but i need one for no air pump. As for the 4 rib my dad owns a napa store and he couldnt find anything in 5 or 4 rib, in 30in. I also tried the two other parts stores for a 4 and five and nothing!!! I live in montana so i have like 3 parts stores. Someone must make these without buying a pulley set? I just cant afford them right now i just got my v mount done and want to start it so bad this sucks!!!!

Some brands don't have the right belt. Look at http://www.banzai-racing.com for sizes...

You can always get a string and wrap it around where the belt goes and then measure the string. There is some adjustment so a 29" might work. The 780mm ~30.71" might also work. Another option would be to get the E-bay under drive water pump and alternator pulleys. They are recommended to reduce belt slipping when the air pump is removed. They are cheap and mine were good quality too. I run with them and an under drive main pulley with no problems. My lights do dim slightly at idle. I do use Evans NPG+ (tolerates higher coolant temps) and have an AGM (charges quicker) Miata battery.

Oh, and I believe the best way to get a hold of Pettit Racing is to call.

If you are going to remove the air pump, take a look at this.

Keep in mind that simply removing the air pump does NOT cause that problem. Over-tightening the belt does.

Yes. Although it often goes hand in hand.

I think that's been a little blown out of proportion. They are not hand in hand. Anyone who over tightens a belt, regardless of the application, will create unwarranted wear on bearing. Whether that is a pulley bearing or any other bearing which is in the loop of the over tightened belt. It's not limited to removing the air pump.

It just happens that more FD owners remove the air pump than mess with the AC/PS belt. I'm sure the same people would over tighten the AC/PS belt just as they would the ALT belt. There is just a lower chance of them re-tensioning the AC/PS belt.

You don't need to buy a tensioner. You do need the larger ALT and WP pullies, then you just set the correct tension on the belt.
