I highly recommend Steve Kan Tuning. ***READ***

The only heavy thing about it was it had twins on it still.
I think it was still 200lbs shy of your claimed weight. Do you have glass in your car?

You can call bs all you want, I have plenty of people that can vouch for me..... including Kan.

I saw the scales myself The car weighs DICK....2,296lbs had everyone in the shop over there staring at the display on the scales and it was what a 50.6% f-r? Even the owner of the shop wanted to know what all he did.

Trying to keep up, but I mentioned this in some other thread... what are there 15 different threads about this now?
Anyway, the weight as stated is accurate. Eric's car was weighed on freshly calibrated Intercomp digital scales, accurate to 1/10th of 1% (so the weight is actually +/- 2.3 pounds).
I supervised the weighing myself, pads were properly zeroed, all four wheels were squarely on scale pads. I was shocked too. Corner weights were 50.0%, front rear bias was 50.6% rear if I recall correctly. I'm not going to give away secrets, but there are some BIG weight savings on this car beyond what has been mentioned in this thread.
And just as a "sanity check" I will mention that I weighed two other cars over the course of the weekend. Both weighed right about were I expected them to be, though slightly heavier than the owners were hoping for.

Stock IRS is gone and I have a ford 8.8 rear end with a aluminum 4 link suspension w/ no sway bar ( I think alot of the weight was dropped from this swap )
Fiberglass hood/fenders, carbon fiber hatch and FAL window, forged weld wheels and lightweight tires, 20lb battery
I tell you, if there is a nut/screw,bolt or clip that I can remove without hurting the structure of the vehicle, I remove it.
none of the parts behind the dash have been removed.
It's been weighed at numerous places with the most accurate reading being done last saturday. Distribution was perfect.

I have a question here. Regarding Mr. Kan
A lot of people here have gotten more HP from his tuning but they never really go into it. Basically how much more boost was he able to turn it up to and still be safe?
Why did you stop at 455 hp the first time? What limited you that is?

Steve was saying most of his customers want reliability. Only a select few of us want big power.
im curious, what was the sae corrected number?, its just a matter of clicking a box on the dyno program to see between the two.
if you dont have that number, about what was the temp in the shop where you were tuned?
