i have an owl in my engine bay
i have a boost/transition problem... boost under 4500 rpms is 8-9psi, then when i take the RPMs up, i can hear the CRV blow off and hear what i think is the other turbo spin up, but the boost only goes to about 3psi, then when i let off there is this "HOOOOO" like there is a dang OWL under my hood.
basically, whenever i let off in boost over 4500rpm, an owl goes HOOOO, and if i immediately punch it again, the boost still only goes back up to 3psi until i go back under 4500rpms and boost...
am i on drugs? or has anyone else heard of this...

Check the transition control actuator and make shure both bolts are in. It may be covered by a heat shield. I had one fall out when I was on twins and no 2nd turbo transition. There is also a "C" clip on the end of the rod that swings open the gate. I don't know if this is the answer but it's worth a look if possible.

Sorry, but I find it funny...our cars making cow noises, owl noises, even goose noises and now a turkey call bov. It's a whole damn zoo under the hood.
p.s. I got the same problem with the moo and the goose noises. The car is performing normally after I adjusted the idle control thing, I forget what it' s called, so I just gave up looking for it. I got used to the moo sound now, but the goose sound is still annoying. I'll go try to tighten the clamps on the turbo hoses. I never heard of the owl sound. Could it be the bearings on the turbos?? Or the second turbo doesn't spool up or may be a leak somwhere? Is it possible for just one turbo to give up, or do both of them give up as a unit?

Did you check the large bending hose to the CRV? That thing turns to plastic over time and can develop cracks.
