I have 2 problems need help

1st problem--today when i warmed up the car and threw it in reverse, as i braked and put it in neutral, then into first to get out of my garage...my abs light came on and there was a hissing a whooshing sound coming from the passenger side of the hood. i was gonna be late to work so figured it's abs so i drove there anyway. i turned the car off and that hissing/whooshing sound was still coming. i went to work and i came back and sure enough it was gone. i started the car and it wasn't there no more. really weird, you think it may be the booster?

2nd problem--when my 2nd turbo comes on i get this little whistling/scooter kind of sound...i'm not sure what it is...but my exhaust does have two small punctures in it from rust...could it be that? right when i get the 2nd turbo at 4.5k the little scooter sound comes on...i think it's air escaping through the little punctures in the exhaust muffler

3rd problem for the hell of it--i'm leaking oil form my Y-pipe connection to the intercooler pipe. it's like a black plastic ring between it and there is lots of wet oil around the connector...easy to fix?

For your 3rd problem, it's more than likely the rubber coupler that has finally gone bad. Mine went bad and was leaking oil down onto the engine and causing some smoke. While it wasn't too bad, it was enough of a worry for me to replace it. I know you can get aftermarket couplers, but I replaced mine with the OEM unit, which cost about $50 from the dealershit. Probably best to get that taken care of soon if you're leaking any significant amount of oil.

For problem 2, if the holes you have are in the muffler itself (and not the surrounding pipes), then get yourself some of that metal tape and stick it on there. If your whistling noise goes away, then you've found your problem. If not, then keep looking

Is replacing the coupler easy enough for me to do myself? Also should I just upgrade to the efini Y pipe while i'm at it?

In my experience that whistling sound that your hearing when you boost is the first signs of turbo failure.I had the same thing last year.It stayed that way for a few months then one nigfht I got into it with a Grand sport vette and a 5.0 at the same time.Well I smoked them both but itr cost me a set of turbos because they went out at the next light. It sounded like sticking a playing card in a fan.So if you can pull off the inlect elbows and veriffy this visually. You'd be looking for excessive scoring on the walls or chipped/bent blades.Good luck.I hope Im wrong on this one.

Problem number 1 = stuck abs solenoid. If you tap on the abs controller box up there in the corner of the engine bay, it should stop. You then have to shut the car off and turn it back on before the abs light will go away. If you leave it to hiss like that while the car is off, it can drain your battery...so be careful.
