i found a japanese fd3s service manual
pretty cool book i bought today at a store called village vanguard. the whole book is in japanese but the pictures are very detailed. it goes over general info of the fd, engine removal/tear down/disassembly. it covers the entire rebuild procedure as well showing tools and everything else.
there is also a lot of other maintenance info in the book as well. all the pictures are in super hi res and the book is hard back. its really nice. i looked it up and its selling for 150-200$ else where but here in japan, its selling for a lot less.
either way, i would like for someone to turn the book to pdf. i tryed and its very difficult and my scanner isnt very cooperative. one cool feature is my printer scans files directly to pdf. anyway, i would like to share the info in this book with others. would anyone be interested? i will pay for shipping to you and i ask you to cover return shipping.

I'd be glad to help...I have nice scanners at work...I can do the book...FYI, I did the color 94 wiring diagram and FSM... PM me if you'd like me to help.
Cheers
Marshall
P.S. Maybe after the pdf conversion, we could figure out a way to translate it to english.

I could, but the printers at work (with the inbuilt scanner function) require you to manually flip to the next page, scan to PDF, then flip next page, scan to PDF, etc. Its tedious...
Hope someone can help out. I'd love to see this in a PDF format.

ISBN is 978-4-88393-538-3 (same numbers appear under the barcode symbol).
Book is 160 pages and has 14 different topics. It does have some nice color photos of the rebuild process, to include special tools, and also has a good chapter on inspecting and replacing suspension components.
Brand new, the book costs 4,500 yen. It is a nice book that adds good information to your FD book collection

although getting the book shipped out took much longer than it was supposed to, nashman has received the book and will soon be in process of doing the scans.
