Check it out. If it's a sound car then I'd get it. Most fd's are going for 12 to 16k. If you get this one at 7, you'll have 7k or so left over for mods. Your car is gonna scream. However, you are screwing yourself on resale value, and financing will be a challenge. I'd get it though because after all, why would you ever sell an fd?

From: Shaw AFB, SC finally close to home!!! yeah!
Make sure you get a compression test and I would really try to take it to a rotary or performance shop that knows a good bit about rx7s! You can never be too careful when it comes to purchasing a rotary!!

Yo,
word to the wise...salvage title means that some where along the lines the vehicle was either in a accident or a stolen recovery...if it was in an accident the vehicle probably sustain some structual damage and was totaled out by the insurance company...if it was a stolen recovery, probably it was striped out and exceeded 3/4 the value of the car, thats why insurance totaled it out...

cars can be in decent shape if in the hands of the right owner...but if the car runs like a crab walking down the road, then my advice is for you to run...

much respect! but buyer beware.

You need to listen to sexxy7....

7K sounds too cheap. You may need to spend 7 grand just to get it running right.

3/4 of the value of an FD is really high man! that means all that money that the owner COULD have spent on hid FD, he gave it a slvaged title.... 3/4 of and FD is what? *counts* around 12k? 12K worth of damage is a lot!
