Hey I finally put back my baby together and started it today after it been sitting for 4 months and it run weir but everything turn out to be fine. Anyhow I notced a change of my idle it run much smoother than before, I have reovemed my secondary butter fly completey can that do it? All of u guys that have done this mod did u noticed anything with your idle change? btw Kel your car look awsome nice silver Fd.

 

So you cleaned up the intake manifold while you had the throttle body removed? That would smooth out the idle and increase it. Sometimes that makes the idle fluctuate a little as the computer adjusts itself to the better flow. What a difference a little carb cleaner can do...

 

True that ... or in your work you may have cured a small vacuum leak that you had or something diddy fish like that.
