I finally got those 99 specs from Mako!

Just wanted to share with everyone that I finally recieved the 99 spec turn signals from www.makotoautotrends.com and they look great! I ordered the smokey lens ones. I'll post some pics of them. What's really cool is the wiring on them plugs into the stock 93-95 wiring harness for the lights. Great buy for only $180!

the 99 style blinker will only work with a bumper that supports those style lights. it will not fit in a stock us bumper without custom body work

Most of the newer fiberglass front bumpers use this style of parking/signal lights up front. These will not fit a 93 to 95 stock front bumper.

WOW! Great prices. Looks great too! Thanks for the hot tip!

Install pics will be coming later today! Also I ordered the smokey lens ones! The euors are much much more clear looking. Hard to tell with pictures sorta'. Thanks guys, expect install pics tonight.

The other thing was, there's one problem. It's not really a problem but you need to get 4 screw nuts to fit the screws on the back for mounting, 2 for each signal Because they didn't come with any.

Yeah, I actually went to doctors the other day and I do have a ligament tear in my left shoulder. I'm going into therapy and if that doesn't help its surgery thinking time.

I also installed them today, forgot to take pictures. I'll take them later. Anyways, the fitment was great! They slid right into place no problem and no rubbing. Perfect fit! I got some screw nuts that fit it I found lyin around and they worked out great. Plugged right in and they look like the real thing on my car now. I'll really try to get some pictures of how good knock offs look

US$180 is so cheap. They are twice the price here in Oz.

Those series-8 (99-02) park lights wont fit in the series-6 (92-95) nose. You will require the series-8 nose & re-enforcement bar behind it to make it all fit.

The plugs on the series-8 lights are different too. Pretty easy to fix that. Chop the plugs from your series-6 park lights & solder them on.

I remember that someone made inserts to fit it on 93-95 FDs... does anyone recall who did it?

Anyways, $180 is an awesome price, compared to what the OE ones cost.

The OEM versions are quite expensive here as well. Maybe not as much as there, but the price is still up there.

1999, 2000, 2001. Makes sense since those are the bumpers they fit.

For anyone else...

Well what's great about these is if you look at my pictures of the harness, the harness on these series-8 (99-02) park lights actually fit the series-6 (92-95) park lamp harness. You don't need to cut and solder anything or buy adapters. It's great, they are direct "plug and play" application.
