I broke it. What is it?

Looking for a purchasable description possibly a part number. Both if Im luck.

I know its a solenoid. Its the foremost solenoid under the rack. I broke the nipple changing a check valve and I need to fix this on an accellerated time schedule.

Thanks in advance,
Dave

I believe the forward most solenoid is the double throttle solenoid (dts). Check you FSM to be sure. If it is the DTS, you can simply cap the nipples on the front and back of the manifold to disable it. If you disable it, you must be careful not to overboost the engine when it is cold. A working DTS will do this automatically.

This all assumes that it is the DTS that you have broken.

Apparently I have no double throttle and so I have no reason to replace it

I broke a nipple on the solenoid indicated in the picture. That solenoid control the double throttle. I then discovered that I had no double throttle because I either never had it or Rotorsports removed it in my engine build a few years ago. Either way its only function at this point is to sit there and prevent my ecu from going crazy and throwing a code. So instead of buying a new one with an unbroken nipple that I'm not using anymore(because it has nowhere to go) I'll just keep my "broken" solenoid.

The double throttle components can be removed and so the solenoid isn't needed.
