I broke my ignition HELP

Guys last night I was working on my car and one of the wires coming out of the Hi-6 Ingition amp that isn't used touched my positive terminal and there was some white smoke and a spark. Then I started the car and it idled about 300rpms lower and the vacuum is about 10-11 instead of 14-15. So is the ignition amp trash and did I also mess up my leading coil?

What I did now is just cut all the wires off the back of the ignition amp and I put electrical tape around each one so they dont touch each other. The car still doesn't have the same vacuum but doesn't run horribly or anything. Just to note I am not boosting and havent gone above 4k rpm because I'm breaking in a new engine. Do I have to rewire the ingition now or is it ok to just have cut those wires and leave it?

ALso if anyone has the fireball hi-6 ignition Id be willing to buy it from you if you get some pictures of the wires so we can verify they are the exact same

Thanks for any help I really need it this time
