i know some most people with the gt35/40 usually see boost by 3500-4000. my t78 sees full boost anywhere from 4200-4700, just depends on when i stab the throttle and what gear

It's all relative. Do your want to spend 10k or not? You can bring your car to any of the Premier Fd tuners out there drop your money and leave.

When you come back you will have a 350-400rwhp on pump gas and could go higher depending on your risk and use of race gas.

In the end most single are about the same on pump gas it's when you turn up the whick that the bigger ones start to shine. Either way a single or upgraded twins will be a butload faster that what you have now.

it starts spooling pretty low actually. can't recall exact rpm, as it's been a while since i've driven my car. to me, it feels just about like my old non-seq twins when it comes on, but at around 5k, it's a totally different car. i have no idea what kind of 1/4 mile i can pull yet, but 10's wouldn't be out of the question with more tuning, higher boost, and some race gas. the actual turbo kit alone was $3200, but usually runs for around $3500

the kit comes with everything needed to replace the twins. (new manifold, turbo, oil lines, block off plates, etc.)

as far as fuel goes, you're better off buying a complete kit like the rx7store has. that's what i have and it works great. you'll also need to get a PFC, some sort of aftermarket intercooler, some block off plates, and possibly have to have someone custom make piping. it sounds like you'll probably just want to take it somewhere and tell them what you want and let them give you an estimate. a properly running single conversion isn't exactly a job for someone who doesn't have much experience on these cars. no offense or anything, it just doesn't sound like you've done much work or much research on the matter

I can see concern with #2, but I wouldn't consider #1 a problem unless the cars running mid/high 11's on stock twins are "slower FD's"

Last time I spoke with Charlie he still had the oil spewing stock twins on his car and was planning on replacing them with good stock twins down the road. I guess he quickly put together something else?

Faster7 is this chris? ya chalie was talking about doing a t3t4 and said it would work with stock fuel system for the money that might be my best bet so far! his twins are about to go too!

What kind of 1/4 mile times, top speed and response do you guy see with you kits?

This is Russell.

"Stock fuel system" as in pump/injectors? Sure.

Changing something major like the turbos on a speed-density controlled system (FD) is asking for trouble. If you run a tiny T3 turbine, since it will likely have more exhaust pressure than even stock twins (ESPECIALLY at higher rpm) and that worked with the stock ECU, then it's a step backwards from the twins.

You can search through the Single Turbo and other forums here to find many 1/4 mile times and dyno plots of different single turbo setups.
