Hyper Ground System

In the new issue of Import Tuner they did a write up on this system. Basically its just a series of grounding wires that is supposed to give you more horsepower. I thought it was bullshit until I read the results that they had on a 95 Rx7 with the following mods:
Stock Engine
Apex GT Front Mount Intercooler
RSR Catback Exhaust
Power FC Programmed by XS
550cc primarys and 1300cc secondaries
Stock Twins

The results were amazing:

RPM Before After Gain

3000 129.2 134.7 5.5
3500 163.8 166.2 2.4
4000 185.5 186.6 1.1
4500 233.3 240.0 6.7
5000 265.7 274.5 8.8
5500 289.3 298.9 9.6
6000 306.6 311.4 4.8
6500 313.0 328.3 15.3
7000 320.7 330.3 9.6

Now these results are amazing. Do you guys think this mod is worth it? The prices range from $98.50-$143.50.

I have the hyperground on my car and it seemed to add some torque down low.

I see Jason sells it as well. Quick question then, which one should people get? blue, red, silver, gold, yellow?

What's the difference in the color system and are they car specific or not for each color?

actually I saw some testing on Japanese tuner mag about similar ground wire. It does work and increase about 5-10hps.

I made my own and the engine seems to have what I call more "snap"- throttle reponse. It definitely helped with the 3K stutter. Still happens once in a while but not all the time like before. It is 95% better.

Whether you make your own or buy one I feel like it is very worthwhile, although I'm still not sure WHY it works. Maybe it makes the stock ECU quicker or more accurate - I dunno.

I would love to know the science behind it.

Basically no difference between the colors. The Gold and Silver are $15 more, but not sure why. I have these in stock

are they car specific, or do you just try and find bolts on the frame near the end of the various length of wires that seem to come of the negative battery cable?

They are not car specific. There are plenty of places to run the cable on the FD. Took me about a 1/2hour to install.

How are they making so much power in the first place? And why isn't power falling off on a stock ported engine?
