HP on a JDM '99 13B

Does anyone know what the horsepower rating on the JDM 1999 13B is??? Also ow much do they usually go for?? I would assume that it is a direct drop into any FD rite??? Help me out. Thanks.

A 1999 FD in Japan makes 280 HP advertised I believe. runs on a sligtly diffrent motor, and turbos as well.

The motor is the same save for the oil injection system. The HP difference comes from the Turbos and the y pipe, both of which are more efficient.

I wonder if the 99+ motors are more reliable than the first versions of the REW like what we recieved in the US.

So does that mean that if I buy a set of '99 spec turbos and slap them onto a FD USDM 13B I'll more or less have a '99 spec motor? Has anyone done this?

Many have done this, although I'm not sure how close you'll come in terms of power. There are still other differences. Run a search and you should be able to find some responses from buyers.
