i have a rhd rx7 and need to replace the downpipe and will be making a custom dp.

i would like to know how to remove the steering shaft that comes out of the firewall and run down to the ps rack?

it looks the same on the Lhd rx7's but reversed of course.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

unbolt them... top and bottom..
this will release pressure on the shaft...
then pivot away to pull...
