easiest way to jack up the car and go from the bottom. make sure you use some anti seize on the threads of the new plugs.
also do a search, im sure there are plenty of threads on this already.

Personally I'm a fan of going at it from the top, not the bottom. I feel it gives me more control of... oh **** we're talking about spark plugs aren't we?
Seriously, top is easier and faster. Remove the intake elbow if you need to make more room, but theres no need to jack the car up to do it.

I think you need a 13/16 deep socket and a ratchet. If you connect the ratchet to the socket and put the socket on the spark plug (after removing the plug wire) and turn it counter clockwise it sould come out.
