how much you spent on maintenance ???
Now we know why FD's have such a reputation for unreliability... no one does maintenance!!
In a typical year with a couple of tires, spark plugs, oil and other fluids, and possibly brakes, I probably spend about $500-1000. This isn't figuring in the parts I've broken.
In a year when I'm doing more work, like spark plug wires, water hoses, other reliability things, I probably spend about $500 more.
All told, it probably costs me about $1000-2000 a year just to keep my car running. Any modifications would be extra money on top of that. Now you know why I haven't modded my car much in the past year or two.
