How much would a complete.......

A/C system cost to replace on a FD?

ABS, and brake lines to replace?

Oil Cooler and lines?

Instrument Cluster hood?

A shop has stripped my car totally down, and ruined these systems on the car, as they deemed them not necessary.

I am sure the list will grow as I look into it further.

If anyone has a guess on how much it would cost to reassemble a FD that would help too. The car was totally gutted to swap to another car, and then they stopped in the middle, and left me with parts.

What shop did this? Are they covering the damages? Call Ray Crowe at Malloy Mazda, his contact info should be in the FAQ. Best form of contact is by phone.

A complete used AC system might be $200-$300. New would probably be $2k plus for all the parts.

I'll leave names out of this for now, but with my location and User name, it narrows it down quite a bit.

I need this 411, for court, because they will not cover damages, or make it right.

you should create a BG thread in the BG section when the dust settles. There's no sense in getting screwed over and protecting the people who did it to you. Since you're in a court case right now, you may not want to speak up, but afterwards, definately create a thread. Additionally, I don't know of any shops in your area...all the "big name" shops are on the west coast, texas, florida and northeast... I've never heard of one from your area.

I'm not sure how much the parts would cost.

+1 on calling Ray Crowe. The number to his department is 888 533 3400

Prices on OEM FD parts go up almost as often as I check, so calling him would be the best way to get the most current prices.

Ray's # is 888 533 3400. Best to call at 8:30 or 9am. For your purposed, I'd ask him to just give you the list prices on an invoice.

They probably won't allow me new prices, but I am not sure. I am waiting to hear back from my attorney as to how he feels we should pursue this.

Most damage was done to one car by taking it apart to swap to another car.

The 2nd car the damage was done by scraping all the sound deadener, seam sealer, and under coating off of it.

Once car A was stripped down, and car B was scraped of everything, they lost interest, and stuck me with 2 shells and a bunch of parts, minus what he picked out to use for customers cars, and his own.

that's 8:30-9am EST. I don't know what timezone Indy is, but Malloy Mazda(the dealership where Ray Crowe works) is on the East Coast.

Thanx for the 411, I'll call him, I have sent a PM to Fritz also about the parts.

This shop doesn't deal with Rx7's anymore, or if they do, its one in a great while, they are pretty much into Miata's and it looks like thats even slowing down.

Now I know exactly what shop did this. I knew that they were turning away rotary business, because they have been telling people to call us.

I responded to your emails to give you a general idea of the time it will take to get this thing back together. Hope it works out for you.

No, it is not them, but I am completely rebuilding, and rewireing a FC that Fuego butchered. He did not limit himself to FD's by any means.
