How much is too much?

Since I already have a water temp gauge and a boost gauge I was thinking about adding the whole freaking Defi set. Here's the plan:

3 Temp Gauges under the Stereo head unit. In the DIN slot.
Water Temp|Exhaust Temp|Oil Temp

Then I would get the boost guage pod that holds it over the steering column.
|Boost|

and finally, in a daul A-pillar pod I would put two pressure guages:
Oil Pressure|Fuel Pressure and hanging my J&S dual sensor display from the bottom of the pod.

What do you guys think? Is this a lil too much? Is my f#cking FD going to end up looking like Vegas? Or the something like from Star Wars or Star Trek?
I think it would be pretty nice to have nice functional guages. How does everyone else have their setup?

I think till you can't see out the window anymore. Take a look at this "thing" that project the gauge reading onto the windseld, looks very cool. Sorry i don't have any names.

Here is my rule of thumb:
BOOST GAUGE =A MUST, NO EXCEPTION.
Regarding the other ones, ADD a gauge with every mod(specific)
When is no more room for gauges, means that you have enough mods.
Just my 0.2 cents

i think that setup will kick ***. not only will you know what goin on with everything in your car, but it will look awsome too. there was a pic somewhere of an FD in Japan with a whole bunch of DEFI gauges. it looked pretty tight. (its on my other comp. ill post it later)

go for it!

I think it will look cool. But someone correct me if I'm wrong but don't the steerign column pods only hold a 52mm gauge. And I thought that the Defi gauges were all 60mm.

The RX-7 store list them as both. I'll use the old dremel if I have to.
Thanks for the input guys

I'm not to big on metric readings, I'd rather go with the new AEM or a Haltec. Its nice to have all the information right there instead of looking onto a little screen.
The blitz sbc-id can display most of the same things as the PFC and cost 1/2 as much.

I used the autometer 52mm pillar mount and put my 60mm Defi boost gauge in it. I had to use a Dremel, but it looks good and I love the Defi gauge.

The green backlit gauges? How do they look with the amber OEM gauges at night?

I want to have 2 A-pillar pod gauges(not sure which ones yet, probably boost and EGT), and I want to take out the climate control dials and relocate them to the center console and put 2 60mm gauges in there(fuel press? air/fuel?) I also like it when people put slanted gauges on the passenger side...do you have to remove the airbag for that?
Does anyone have any more pics of their set up, or any nice set ups?

Since it's a RHD 7, then that's probably Km's, not miles. 9600km's is about 6200 miles... even better
