Very little. So far, most everything has been aimed more at reliability, mostly in the cooling system and maintanance. As far as hp, whatever the K & N, a DP and addition of a decent cat-back brings over stock.

Not much. Pretty much reliable mods only. New AST, Fluidyne radiator, Viton hoses, DP, mod. intake. Oh yeah, and very reliable car if I may add. Also running 10-8-10 boost.

Way too much...Bought the car with a blown motor, and hundreds of other problems. Last time I checked I was somethin like 8K plus the initial buy price... Mods are in sig..The mods werent necessairly the most expensive part though...Its the little miscelaneous things that add up.

Performance??? Heck, i've spent a few grand just to keep her running!

But seriously, i bought my car with most of the mods already done. All i had to do was go in and track down all the little electrical problems and such. But all the little stuff will cost you just as much as the high cost performance parts will, in the long run. That's fo sho. But the end result is that i have a reliable daily driver with about 350hp at the motor. Definately worth it.

I just added up $18,400 worth of maintanence performance items...woah!! I didn't need that info, that is for sure. So depressing...car still isn't finished, I don't drive it cause it needs tuning, and there is still a clunk sound when transitioning from partial throttle to no throttle...trying to build a well done, track worthy (20 weekends a year) RX7 may be the death of me!

Engine is a rebuild and reseal, with brand new E-shaft and rotors and a full bridgeport
Turbos are ported by Turbonetics and VSR balanced and blueprinted with an efini y pipe
Aftermarket solenoids, purchased from these forums to control the turbos
Simplified sequential w/ RX7 store block off plates
Silicon vacuum lines and viton check valves
M2 Intake
PFS Intercooler
Full 3” exhaust...downpipe, midpipe (high flow cat), and Racing Beat Cat back

PowerFC full standalone computer, using stock primary injectors (1300cc secondary injectors) and an upgraded Bonez high volume fuel pump
High output Jacob’s ignition with FC Turbo II coils

Defi link series Oil temp and Boost Gauges, and an innovate LC-1 wideband O2 meter
Center dash dual gauge pod and steering column single gauge pod house the three gauges.

Fluidyne high volume radiator, with custom ducting
Rotary Performance dual 24 row oil coolers

RPS heavy duty clutch and lightweight flywheel

Tein Flex coilover suspension system; 10k front and 8k rear spring rates
Pettit front and rear swaybars the front being a custom tubular type, with needle bearing mounts and machined aluminum end plates

Stock pillowball bushings have been recently installed
solid nylon differential mounts
polyurethane engine mounts
Rotary Performance trailing arms and toe links

17x8 MotoForm Circ wheels
255-40-17 Falken Azenis RT-615 tires
Pettit brake rotors, ATE fluid and Hawk HP+ pads

efini emblems and black/clear lensed front turn signal lights

Vis Scoot hood replica: $500 (February)
Tires: $700 (March)
Paint: $1300 (especial Hookup not yet next month)

Total: $6445

Grand total: $9395 <---****! Thanks a lot guy! didn't even realize that I had that much money into it. And that's not including cost of repairs and ****... ugh! don't wanna even think about that... I ain't driving this car anymore. Costs too damn much.

Edit: but the end result is that 9K is still a very good bang for the buck as far as the wow factor concerned.

My signature says $9,000-something, but that was a while ago. It's over $10,000 now. I have just about every mod I want for now, except going single. But I like the twins for now.

Very true, and especially when you buy good used parts.
