GEICO since 1990
$1300 for a whole year
27 yrs old with no moving violation since 1994 (speeding)
1990 Chevy Cavalier 2.2 L with 123K miles
1993 R1 with 68+K miles

I have a pretty basic plan...service in my case has always been awesome!

I tried Progressive with the same plan as Geico and Progressive quoted me a rate of $1850 per year.

Ive also been driving for 5 years and am in the same plan that covers the house and my family's cars. We've been with Allstate for house and auto insurance for many many years. Group plans are the way to go.

I dont care if im under my family's plan, and it's not under my name...i'm still paying, and would rather pay less for more insurance, than to pay more, get less, and only have the satisfaction of saying 'its under my name' while getting ***-rammed everymonth

I'm paying $636 / 6 months with USAA

I have full coverage (and lots of it, at that). The 7 is listed as a "pleasure vehicle" for me because I have a second car that is listed as my regular vehicle - that lowered my insurance quite a bit. I also have a $500 deductable to bring it down a few extra dollars. No moving violations or speeding tickets since '95.

I do, however, live in Los Angeles county, which is one of the worst cities to live in as far as insurance goes... my premium would be much lower if I lived in, say, Nebraska.

USAA is only available to people working in the armed forces and their dependants.

oh, and I'm 25.

Talking Hell Yea BlackR1

My car is under my moms name and here insurance and I don't live with her anymore. I had to do this because I have many, many, ....., speeding tickets. But I know were you are coming from.
I still pay it, and I would rather pay less for insurance and not have the car in my name ( allows to save for mods), instead of being bent over and raped without vasoline or KY.

I quoted EVERYONE and this was the cheapest.

I'm 21, not married, and it's my own plan. Full coverage

2 hit and runs, 1 stolen, and a "no right turn on red" ticket".

I pay less than $70 each month for my 93 R1, that's as a secondary car under my name. My primary is the 90 TII which is $130 a month. It used to be $101, but I lost my good student discount.

20 years old and a clean record.

I thought I was getting a reasonable rate. I pay $2000/yr for just my 94 FD. I live in Milwaukee, so that should make it higher, but I only have 1 ticket. I am 24. Can you believe my insurance on my 99 Hyundai Tiburon is $2400/yr?

$640/year, collision & comprehensive w/$500 deductible. '94 touring is secondary car. Primary car is '98 Saturn at $310/year.
Insurance company is Kemper. Maybe it pays to live in the sticks.

For the rx7 I would have to pay a little over $250 a month. I am 19 nearly 20 yrs old and have only one ticket, "failure to yield right of way". I pay $960 a year with a 69 tr6 as my primary and the rex is under my dad's name so...I lucked out.
