I just purchased a 93 RX-7 TT and I am wondering how much boost I should be getting. I don't know if the ECU has been modified or anything. All I know is that it has an aftermarket air filter, greddy catback exhaust, Efini Y-pipe and crossover pipe, greddy blow off valve, and a greddy turbo timer. I think that I am getting about 8-9 psi.

 

get a boost guage, and you should be close to 10-8-10 or 11-8-12 with your mods.

 

This may sound stupid, but should my car be boosting 11-8-12, or should I adjust my boost to that setting?

 

Do you have a boost gauge? If not, now is the time to get one.

After that check the ecu and make sure it is an upgraded one. You will need it if you are going to upgrade anymore.
