Talking HOW MUCH BOOST have you pushed

I know I don't have a TWIN TURBO RX-7 or a TURBO RX-7 for that matter... but I wanna see how much boost did big brother push... If you'll spent that much $$$ in your FD... then I'm sure you'll are pushing high boost...

I know I will get flamed for this but I've put 18.2 psi ( MAP) and 21.4 off the turbo b4 the FMIC already ..with my non-seq twins...and a stock fuel pump.

Stock boost is 10PSI. The stock twin turbos begin to lose effiecency after 15PSI so most people in this forum will be in the:

9-15 psi (YES!!!! showing my goodies!!!)

range (which counts people ranging from stock to all the bolt-on mods). You should ask in the Single Turbo section if you want to see some high boost numbers.

I ran 28lbs on I-70 smoking a CBR929RR to about 170mph where I had about 7 cars on him! I was tuning at the time with a wideband and saw him creep up. It was prolly the best race I've been in.

So is boost only limited by your turbo setup, then (including IC, fuel..bla bla).

I mean..the engine itself will pretty much take 20psi of boost as long as the rest of your setup is good?

Damn....

Hey guys, I am new to this forum I was recommended by a friend to join up because people give alot of good information, so here I am.

Just wanted to ask I found out that the T-78 GReddy kit would deliver around 550-600 HP, not sure if its to the wheels though, anyhow I was wondering what other things I'd have to purchase, obviously a FMIC and such but ECU wise and fuel system.

thanks!!

Welcome to the forum!

Check the Single Turbo section, as it has a thread about single turbo setups:

https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...threadid=33502

That will give you an idea of what you'll need. Good luck.

I accidentally had 15 1/2 to 16 psi right before I got my boost gauge. I installed a boost controller, and am now back to 12 1/2 (where I belong).
