Talking 88 RX-7 WITH 22K miles for $1500

I just pick up a 1988 rx-7 5speed with ONLY 22K ORIGINAL MILES FOR $1500.I'm looking to get 17in. rims and want to know what is the proper offset.I don't want to have the wheels sticking out or have to roll the fenders. What size rim width should I look for and tire size. Thanks in advance!!!

i had 15x7.5" rims on my 86 and they stuck out the side pretty far, i would say 17x7" would look nice if you dont want them sticking out of the fender

that won't work with the stock offset...

i have 17x7's all around on mine with 215/45's so i can rotate them...

stock offset is +40mm ...this is what i have and the 215's are close up front but don't rub. 235's with that offset i don't think will fit (but will def rub for that matter). you'd have to get an offset like +38mm or more

good luck man

Question!!! How about 16X7 and 215/50's? There are some shitty roads here... LOL Would that look good?
