How many wires does the OEM O2 sensor have?

Question How many wires does the OEM O2 sensor have?
I bought an aftermarket OEM replacement O2 sensor and it has 4 wires and the one I have only has 1 wire coming out of it. It said that its a direct fit but I don't think so.

Should I have the part exchanged for a 1 wire, or will the 4 wire O2 sensor work?

It should be a one wire. The one wire sensors are unheated.

Uggh thanks, i'm gonna have this one exchanged. While I was checking my old O2 sensor under the hood, I found out that it wasn't even plugged in!!! Now I know why I didn't pass smog
