93 touring 165071mi -chassis and motor, approx 85k on turbos

Unbelievable that you have 160K+ on your original motor. Mostly freeway miles, right?

And BTW, you need to change your screen name now.

 

Yeah that name was pretty short sighted!
Though I did go cross-country twice in the past 4 years its not all freeway miles.
I used my FD as a work vehicle when I was a cpu network field tech from 1999 to mid-2001. I know people on this forum will think it was crazy to do (all my coworkers did too), but at the time my second car was a 68 Cougar with a 4spd and no PS!
Besides, driving the FD around all day made me love going to work.

 

With 70 cars mileage, we have current results:

Lowest mileage (93-95) 11,800
Highest mileage 165,000
Average mileage 74,000

Anyone else?

well today was pretty nice out so i took my car to work..on the way home, i took the long way, i past my house on purpose to enjoy the car (i miss nice weather) and i get home, park it..i let the car sit with the fans on for the first time in 3 months (i drove her all day on new years which was 65 degree and sun ) and i was day dreaming a bit in the car and what do i notice?



i hit 70k already

my baby is getting old lol..im so used to telling people when they ask me how many miles do i have and i say 67 something or 68 something..now when they ask me, i have to say 70k

 

when i got mine it had 23800 kilometers thats 14790 miles

'93 base model with 111,000 on the chassis and around 30,000 on rebuild

 

'93 base with 118k on the chassis and 2k on the rebuild

 

95 Black on Black 25,500k miles. 1k miles after street port and 3mm Apex Seals

 

77,777 is just right around the corner.

january 2004 = 19,000 mi - completely stock oem

march 2005 = 32,000 mi - all reliability mods done, some performance mods, and lots of tender loving care

i get withdrawal symptoms when i dont drive the rx7 so she will continue to put on miles.
