How many miles on a stock 94 motor b4 rebuild?
I'm curious to know how many miles can you lug on the factory mazda 94 RX-7 13B motor before you have to rebuild. (Assuming good maintanance). I'd like to know how many miles you have on your 94 or 95 stock motor?

some engines last to 120k miles! it all depends no two engines are the same or have the same owners

Thank for the info vosko, but I would like to know what the average milelage would be? not the extreme poorly maintained or the overly maintained (1000 mile oil changes). Also I would like to hear from some owner of 94 or 95s and what mileage they have on their stock motor b4 problems (aka leakage)? What about your car vosko?

The year dont matter. A 93 motor can outlast a 94's, a 94 motor can outlast a 93's.

i think the responce you are looking for is on average anywhere from 65-75k miles

just for reference my car's engine gave out at 87k miles due to coolant seal and oil seal failure. it did have quite a few mods on it for a while

it can last as long as you want it to. just maintain it. treat it great not just good.
if you want it to last spend time and money on doing it on when it was suppose to.oil changes and everything.

Since only 2 people read the question, I will ask it agian. I DONT want to know how long a factory 13B that mazda put in the 94 or 95 RX-7 SHOULD last, I want to know how long it has actually lasted in your RX-7(mine is completely stock)? And what happened that caused it to fail? If its still runnig strong over 70K miles, what do you do to care for it?

Your question isn't valid.
The engine's are only as good as their owners.
The forum isn't a great place because there's a higher percentage of modified cars as opposed to stock cars.

I've owned 8 RX-7s.
