How many miles O2 sensor replacement?
couldn't find in the manual or any threads recommending maintenance regarding O2 sensor replacement at xx,000 miles. I recall from other vehicles I've owned numbers like 60,000 miles. Anybody know maintenance schedule for O2 sensor?

50,000 or so on a stock car. honestly you only replace them when they go bad. the ecu will let you know when it flat lines. your other option is to get a good meter or a scan tool and look at how it switches.

Every single car I have ever owned has had its O2 sensor last 80,000 miles and die shortly after. (Except my 66 Mustang, for obvious reasons)
By die, I mean that it no longer reacts fast enough to AFR changes to be of much use. I have never seen an O2 sensor 'flatline' :O (Not saying it isnt possable)
You can always just hook a voltage gauge up to it and watch how fast it responds (0V-1V), if it responds within the acceptable range (hits ~.5V on cruise) or if it responds at all :P

I've been wondering about this too. On my daily drvien Acura Integra(AT), I've only been getting 23-23.5 MPG. I'm wondering if it's O2 sensor has gone bador gotten lazy.

Every O2 sensor I've ever seen on any car begins to decline in performance and cause poor mileage way before it ever trips the CEL.
The CEL in general is a poor judge of performance for any sensor's health. The CEL doesn't trip until some specific parameter is reached and it's incapable of telling you about the true health of a sensor, only if it's an obvious malfunction. Just because the CEL isn't on doesn't mean you don't have sensors that aren't up to snuff.

obd 1 is pretty shitty. it only realy does nothing unless it is shorted or open. obdII has much tighter standards in measuring the switch time, including catalyst monitoring.

Yeah, but you can get away with gutting stuff out of the system a lot easier with OBDI .
