Some to think about aswell. Around 6000 of the 9976 are really 92 models. Sales died big time in 93 hence why less than half the 92 sales got sold in 93.

This question has been brought up before..

https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/how-many-fds-left-431374/

https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/10-yrs-how-rare-would-fds-become-314949/

No one knows exactly how many are left.. I thought I knew all the FD owners in town, but once in awhile, I meet someone who lives in B'ham, who had it for years!

My guess used to be 3-4K.. but now I'm thinking 5-6k

Here is a quote from someone who talked to Cameron Worth (Pettit Racing).

And DMRH posted this back in 2003

When you think about it, US versions are more proper car and more rare (13k VS 40+K).
Right hand drive cars are slightly harder to mod since the exaust and steerings are on the same side. I've heard someone in Japan saying that they prefer to get US spec FDs because of this reason.. I could be wrong.. US SPEC RULES!!!! (just kidding DMRH)

Mine is 1 of 1,015 Brilliant Blacks 93. What I'd like to know is how many of them had Red Leather interior!

Bringing back to life. :-D

Just wanted to let you all know just received my FD out of the shop 8-19-05, has a salvaged title but she runs once more.....well...kinda.
Bought the car wrecked, front right upper/lower controlarm ripped off at an 75mph impact on the freeway. Sooooo +1 to that list,

Needing help for engine work but i'll post elsewhere.

Take care all!
