How many FD owners run a staggered wheel setup?

Pretty easy.

How many FD owners run a staggered wheel setup versus a non-staggered wheel setup?

Most ppl with aftermarket wheels do bc the front does not hold a large tire whereas the back can hold a larger wheel/tire.

I do for the track...245/45-17 on 8.5 x 17 and 275/40-17 on 9.5 x 17...tires are Hoosier R3S03, wheels are SSR Competitions...

There is a slight amount of understeer with a staggered setup, and I can't steer the car's rear end as well with this setup, but the upshot is if you overcook a turn-in, just ease of the gas, the nose points in very nicely...

Much easier to steer the rear end with 255/40-17s all the way around, which is what I have for my public road, autocross, and wet track setup (9 x 17 SSR Integral A2s, with Yokohama AVS Intermediates)...the downside is if you overcook a turn-in, you must have fast reflexes to catch the car's rear end, and feather the throttle...(which is loads of fun!)

Actually, I posted in the 3rd gen area because I only wanted 3rd gen owners to reply. I do realize that there is a wheels area though. Thank you for pointing that out.

Hi,

I'm running 235 45 17 A032R's up front and 255 40 17 A032R's in the rear on Simmons 17*8, and 17*9 wheels. I find the car has a neutral feel on the track and behaves very well. I am quite happy with this set up.

Where'd you find the 235/45 sizing A032R's? I could only find the 235/40 sizing and ended up going over to S03's since I could get the 235/45 and 255/40 f/r tire sizes.
