How long will a rebuilt engine hold up?

I'm looking to buy a FD soon here and am curious about rebuilt engines....will they hold up as long as a new engine if taken care of? If not, how many miles can I expect to get out of one? Thanks

depends on how smart you are

doesnt matter if its new or rebuilt...wrong mods and a lead foot will kill ya every time.

but...if you do the rebuild you can go with a streetport.
