how long should this clutch last?
i have an ACT street/strip clutch, and about 4k miles on it. how long should it last before i should worry about slipping?
i drive it hard every weekend at the race track, but i always ran on street tires so i'm always spinning.
i'm doing 360 whp on high boost and 310 lb-ft.
i'm just worried about it because i just bought BFG drag radials and i'm going to use them this weekend.
thanks

i don't know how long you've got. when it's starts slippin', you'll know.
don't concentrate on that ****, focus on driving. faith, my son. enjoy the car for what it is. marvel in it's power and feel the exhileration of acceleration. drive with confidence, knowing that there is nothing and no one out there faster. but when there is, and he finds you, be humble. then you will quietly seek out lesser prey to attempt to have that confidence once again. you'll find that turbo honda or mustang or vette or even me. but when it's time, and you're about to teach this guy a lesson, you down shift and your clutch says uh-uh, you know you need a new one.
