How long to change all 14-coolant hoses ?

How long does it take to change all fourteen coolant hoses and what are some tips and/or caveats (e.g., remove Y-Pipe) ?

Is it an all-day (6-8 hrs) affair, or 3-4 hrs. ?

I'd hate to incurr the wrath of my wife . . .

Wow. Honestly, my advice to you if you want to change every single coolant hose on the car---

Pull the motor. That is probably the easiest way

On a serious note, if you have never done the job before, it is def a weekend affair. Use a razor blade and pliers to help remove the old hoses, and use some kind of lubricant (liquid soap works) to help slide on the old ones. The biggest pita for you will be the hose that runs from the back of the motor up to the rear of the tb.

Best of luck to ya

^^yep. Just remove the UIM to get to the hose that goes to the TB from the rear side housing. Other than that one they are all pretty easy. The ones that srcape trhe hell out of my hands are the fire wall heater hoses on the passenger side. The ABS module is directly in the way. But it is possible to squezze a big hand in there and work the hoses loose. Or cut them off as Rich said. But this is only a few hour job. Now burping the coolant system may take 6-8 hours j/k.

For that leave the top TB hose off and fill the system. That will be the highest point in the system and allow the air to escape easier. Expediting the burping process
