How to kill the moo from the airpump?

Short of killing the airpump itself, how do I get rid of the cow under the hood? I still need the airpump. Any ideas?

Some older RX7's had a sort of muffler in line with the air-pump.
But I have no idea where to get them. The Hks intake have some sort of muffler as well.
Let me know what you find out...
regards jc.

Pettit's cold air kit comes with a "silencer". However, Idon't know if they sell it separately. I'd like to kill mine as well.

k heres what you do, all ya gotta do is get a peice of piping which will fit in side the airpump rubber hose, both hoses are the same size. after that, get a breather airfilter for a V-8 valve cover which will fit the pipe on the hose and put it on both hoses coming off the hoses. It will definantly quiet it down but not do anything serious to the air pump. right now my brother is running this on his car and it is working like a charm.

lawn mower muffler works pretty good actually...a little K&n will not quiet it enough...you really have to reduce the size of the diameter hole that the air is coming out of...if you dont..you going to get the mooo's
