How to keep my car running as cool as possible??

I am wondering what are the best ways i can spend my money on keeping my car running cool as possible? I have a single single turbo set up and a front mount. Besides getting a good radiator and fans which I will be doing soon, what kinds of upgrades are available for an FD to keep it really cool......I have just noticed how my car is sooooo much more responsive in 50-65 degree weather, so i figured i would see if anyone has suggestions for me because i know there is a lot i can do but don't know where to start.

thanks.

Do a search for "FC thermoswitch" and see what comes up.

You could try searching through the FAQ section and read the several threads that are posted on this subject for starters... Reliability mods will list such items.

I would really question the builder of your car if he/she spent the money for a single conversion and neglected to leave the stock radiator. If that is the case I would look around for other items on the car that have been done incorrectly or just ignored. The stock fans work just fine and are adequate. YES a good aftermarket radiator will help. Oil coolers are a good idea (rotaries use oil just as much as water to cool the motor), the fc thermoswitch will not really help if (and I hope you do) you are running a power fc because the temp the fans turn on can be altered with a datalogit.

Water/methanol injection will not lower operating temps but will lower intake and combustion chamber temps and help provide more overall reliability.
