To me, the Power FC has the right combination of resolution and capability for the price. There are higher resolution ecus with more features (Motec, Haltech, Tec 3), but they are both more expensive and require much more modification to the car for install. For example, both the TEC-3 and Haltech systems require pre-mixing as they do not utilize the oil metering pump.

The PFC is not perfect but I think it's the best choice for most owners.

Go with the PFC. It is the best route for basic modifications with the versatility of being able to tune it yourself.

A PowerFC+Datalogit+Wideband like and FJO or DYI is an aswesome and powerful combination. The PowerFC is more bang for the buck and with the other 2 components I mentione, you have more than you will know what to do with in terms of tuning and monitoring potential.

Get the PowerFC. You can always get a map and then fine tune it. Tony Kutlu road-tuned mine w a wideband O2 sensor & Datalogit @ the RotaryRevolution in Indy and my car runs a lot stronger.
