How to fix hood and bumper gap(the write up)

Here is a write up on how I fixed the gap between the bumper and the hood.

This is a very easy to fix, I should have done this a lot sooner. Sorry, I don't have pictures, next time I get a chance I will take some and add them to the write up.

Tools: 10mm Socket & Ratchet, Drill, 1/16" and 5/16" drill bits, Small block of wood.

1) Remove the four 10mm bolts that hold the aluminum bumper support to the front cross member.

2) The holes are slotted right-left, not front to back like you need them to be. So drill a small (1/16") hole in front of the slotted hole, then drill that hole out with the 5/16" drill bit. Basically, you want to make the hole a "T" shape. (Be sure to put a block of wood or something comprable under the hole while drilling, you don't want to drill holes in you cross member)

3) Insert bolts into holes and adjust the bumper to eliminate the gap. This took a few different tries to get it perfect.
(also you might have to bend the aluminum support down a little to help it line up better)

All and all it was pretty simple to fix the gap.

This doesn't address the warping witch I still might try to fix later.
