hi all, i dont own an rx7. i am in to cosworths

a friend of mine has an rx7. he reckons he has seen 170 mph in it so far with these mods. is this possable? thanks for ur time i have copy and pasted the mods below

well basied on the HP numbers you gave and the top speed calculator on rob robinettes site your friend is proboley right if that HP number you gave is the hp at the flywheel. but if he hasnt changed the gearing then i dought it.

 

"Cartest" program predicts a top speed of 186 mph with 400 hp at the flywheel.

 

Let me answer the question your really trying to ask. Yes, your friends RX7 will smoke your 400bhp cosworth transit van!

 

since the car is is black I'd say 182.34 MPH

On my power fc it said 286khp. All I had was a pfc,dp,mp,cb, and tuned at 8psi

Black is slow. Absorbs too much sunlight. Montego Blue Mica reflects the light, and thus, WAY faster.

for a start, there are no roads in guernsey that long to do that speed!
it was just a simple question i asked. i dont own a 7, so im not going to know what they are like performance wise! i know my van is never going to be able to beat car like that, thats had a fair bit of work done to it!
