How fast have u had your rx

Three weeks after I bought my fd wich was bone stock I took my girl for a ride. Going from Tacoma WA to Seattle on SR512 I opeaned her up it was late so nobody was on the highway, hit 155mph she started to get a little vibretion so I let off the gas and coasted to normal speed. Did not want to hit the brakes going a buck fifty. the week after my front tire blew out on me then I noticed my tires had bad cracking on the inside wall's pretty thankfull it did not happen that night on the freeway!!!!!!!!!!!!

That wasn't very bright... you just bought the car... & you're already going very fast/hard with it? You should reconsider that idea. You don't know the condition of the car... something could be ready to break... as was demonstrated when your tire blew a short while later. Get used to the car gradually... you'll be much safer to take your time.

So? That's why you add on to it instead of starting a new thread.

new tires fix that shaking problem? you're very fortunate that didn't go when you were running it hard...

^^ Oh, I thought in your first post that you said you've had the car for 3 weeks... I thought you meant that the story just happened, I didn't realize the story took place 3 years ago... maybe I didn't read it right.

Way to represent crazy Seattle drivers! But Mahjik is right... Add on to those threads. These guys will tell you every time. Unless you have a problem you can't find an answer to, don't start a new thread. This topic has been discussed many times...

I-5 South thru Fife 155mph =)
I-405 North thru Bothell 160mph =) Same day on the way home from Tacoma

I haven't found a good place to really open up my car. Maybe I'll take a road trip to Nevada sometime. The fastest I've gone is 140-145mph (topped out 4th gear). That felt plenty fast for me, since it was on Highway 1.
